A few more new bands here.
This first one are a bit like The Maine (who I mentioned before). Stereo Skyline are from New York. I really like their up-beat tunes. It sounds brilliant, and I’m only listening through little laptop speakers! Their MySpace page is really good, the pictures of the members are brilliant. I think for girls, unlike me, who don’t have boyfriends would love to fantasise about Kevin, Brian and Rob… Blondes. Yummy if you like that sort of thing, of course I have my beautiful Toby!
Another one. HeyHiHello! are/is awesome. It’s one guy, Jakub, who, to me, looks quite like Gabrielle Aplin.. Confused.. Anyway, when he does live shows he has two other guys in the band. Anyway, I love Don’t Quit! Not Quite! ’cause it’s such a feel-good song. A good source of music methinks.
I have to say though, my favourite of the three is I See Stars. The beat is heavier and it’s more rock-ish. I like loudness, and this is loud and good. They’ve got a good singer, too. Devin, Chris, Jeff, Brent, Jimmy and Andrew, from Michigan, play some pretty decent music that I am happy to write loads about. It’s so varied, it’s just awesome. There’s some evidence of heavy metal in the genetics, as well as The Maine style vocals. I really like it. Their new album is called 3D. Find it, it’s worth it.
I hope these posts are worthwhile, I definitely like hearing new stuff and it’s good if I can share anything awesome that I find.
