Summer?

I think it’s been summer. Not quite sure, judging by the weather. Maybe we had all the summer we were allowed to have in April. I had quite a good time off though..

Part of it I couldn’t spend off though, since I have this AQA Baccalaureate to do, which involves a massive extended project where I’ve had to do loads of research over the holiday. I’m studying the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico, and I’m gonna be writing a 5000 word essay on it when I get back to school about the cleanup of the oil. YAY.

After CentreParcs though, I had a few more weeks of school, and then I was free (except for research). I got that done in the first week or so, and then I did some well-needed relaxing.

We went off to France at the start of August. It was a nice holiday; most of it was spent drinking with my brother and boyfriend. One night in particular, I had a few Malibu and coke’s, which in the bar on the campsite were half and half mixes! I was only slightly happy after those though. I think the sugar counteracts the alcohol. This was not the case for Vodka sunrises though! The grenadine made it taste lush, but I was swaying on a barstool after two! We went round the campsite a few times after the bar closed, climbing on the stuff in the playground and talking about stupid stuff. Chris nearly fell asleep on a ping pong table, and he set a fire hose on someone’s tent. I then fell over a speed bump running away and broke my necklace. Not happy about that, although I fixed it as soon as we got home.

The day after we got back was my results day. I was happy with my AABB (PE, Maths, Chemistry and Biology), but since going back to school I have found out that I was 1 mark off an A in Bio and 2 in Chem, so I’m retaking a paper from each in January.

Anyway, it’s no longer summer and I know it’s not. I have been terribly stressed with school stuff, but I vow to you now that I will be a proper blogger once I have finished my A levels, if not before. :)
