Ancient!

I’m not really, but I definitely feel older. We had a good night on Thursday, had curry for dinner and some Cava, that made me feel quite ill! Woke up fine on Friday though. We went to Glo in Reading for dinner, which was really nice. We started off sharing some dim sum; duck spring rolls, crispy prawn and chive things and some fried chicken mince thing. It was all nice. I had duck noodles in plum sauce for mains, and some nice cocktails! Then I had deep fried ice cream, which was really nice. The waiter put a candle in it too!

We then went off to a club, Dogma, with Mum and Dad. We stayed for a few rounds, and then Toby, Chris and I went to Sakura. I had a Kir Royale (the middle) and Chris and Toby had some Jagerbombs. We had shots too, mine were supposed to be melon and fruit salad but I don’t know which was which! Poor Toby said both of his were horrible.

We went to the Purple Turtle after that and had one more drink, nearly caught fire under the patio heaters, and bumped into some of Toby’s old mates, one of which was most likely stoned.

We got home and had some crumpets and grapes before we went to bed.

I got up on Saturday and went for my AMAZING massage and facial, courtesy of Emily, Emily and Charlotte. It was so relaxing, and smelt so good as she rubbed all my stress away.

Mum took my calm away as we were setting up for my cocktail party. She kept stressing at me to do the hoovering so that we could move the sofas, and that made my back hurt again!

People arrived at gone 8, and we had such a good time. The drinks were great, and Chris and Toby were so lovely making them for us. Everyone had a really good time and made a point of telling me!
Unfortunately, after they had gone, Chris, Toby and me made a ‘dirty pint’ containing half a shot of every drink we had open. It tasted quite nice, despite its looks…

I had a good night. My morning was not so good. I was quite ill after the pint, so had to miss Rosemarie’s 50th birthday lunch, which was a bit rubbish. I was fixed by the evening though. Overall, the weekend was a laugh, but I need another now to catch up on sleep…
