Okay. I can’t really say much about what’s been going on lately. Well, the last proper blog post, that wasn’t random ramblings about laptops and song lyrics and whatever else, was after my birthday.
Since then, I’ve had a few surprises.
First off, we had a lovely Valentine’s day. Toby surprised me with gorgeous red roses. Apparently I had been hinting that roses don’t affect hayfever so he could buy me them.. I don’t remember that though! I got a giant Moonpig card for him, with some heart shaped gummy sweets. The card was an Edward Monkton one…

We had a really nice evening. I guess the next thing after that would be the epic battle I had to get a nice album and enough photos for Toby for our second year anniversary a month later. I got a really nice album from John Lewis, and got 140 odd photos printed in ASDA. It took me a whole evening, and a lot of faffing, to get them organised in the album, but it looked great, except for the blank 2 pages that were stuck together… Grr.
He loved it. I was given a really nice necklace and a glass block paperweight with a love heart on! I was then surprised the next day once more with a delivery from Moonpig. There was a large box, that I opened to find yet more gorgeous roses and a lovely card, with a cute message in. ‘Two years deserves two days of happy Kat‘, I was told…
We went for a nice weekend with the family up to Monmouthshire a few weekends after. We went walking; we stayed in a place called Raglan, and walked around Herefordshire for 10 miles on the Saturday. It was tiring, but a good laugh. I got some good photos while walking, which will be on Flickr at some point, I’m sure. The next day the parents went for another walk, while Toby, Chris and I went exploring the castle. That was a laugh, but I did NOT like the keep. It was a tall, spiral stone staircase (with holes in) up to a very high tower with no walls. You can see why I didn’t want to stay!
It was a nice weekend overall; nice food, nice company!
I got my retake results then, too. I was happy with those: brought both Biology and Chemistry up to A’s, and apparently got full marks in Bio.. Not bad, to match my mock grades: A*, A, B in Bio, Maths and Chem. So I’m a pretty happy boffin bunny at the moment!
I’m supposed to be accepting my Uni offers soon, and sorting out finance, which means I need a student bank account blah blah…
LAS VEGAS IN TWO WEEKS :D
I cannot wait to go out there really. I’ll miss Toby a hell of a lot, but there’s at least 3 hours every day when we’re both awake! Plus, I’ll have lots of photos to share LV, the Grand Canyon and San Fransisco with him!!

Wow, how come you’re going to Las Vegas? Have an awesome time there!
Hmm I dunno. Think mum just wanted to go.. Or is there some big event she wanted to go to? Not sure.. Haha :)
